Return to the Islands.

This is not what I expected at all.

We had an uneventful journey back to Milford Haven, the wind slightly behind, jib acting as a cruising chute; we left at 17.05 and arrived the next day at 1500, entering the marina at 16.10.

However, three hours after leaving the Isles of Scillies, we had some news. The family issue that we had faced had been partially resolved. Much as we were pleased at the outcome, it actually meant that it necessitated a return to the Scillies and the retrieval of my father's old yacht from the boatyard there.

So now we are heading to Cardiff to pick up a hire car. We will drive early tomorrow to Penzance and catch the Scillonian over to St Mary's. On Tuesday, Rosie Day will be lifted in after two years in the yard being repaired; we will then make our way back to South Wales.
